Nathan has been fascinated with the structure, function, and adaptability of the body since he was a child. Initially aspiring to be a comic book artist, he studied anatomy and how the body moved. Later, as an actor, dancer, musician, and martial artist he learned how the body could be refined to better perform. He also learned resiliency and how the body could recover from being hit by a car while in his teens.

After a time pursuing a profession in the arts, Nathan went back to school to understand the body even better. He earned his A.S. in exercise science from Kingsborough Community College and then his B.S. in sports science from Long Island University. He worked as a personal trainer for the better part of a decade before later returning to LIU to earn his doctorate in physical therapy.

As a therapist, Nathan has diligently pursued mastery. When not in the clinic, he is often taking continuing education courses, receiving mentorship, and digging through research and textbooks. He has been extensively trained in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. He became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2023. Currently he has been undergoing rigorous training in Functional Manual Therapy, for which he will be sitting for the daunting, week-long certification testing from the Institute of Physical Art in 2026.

Nathan combines the mind, body, and functional demands of the patient's life in his treatment sessions. Through this whole-person approach, he create personalized treatment plans for each patient, customized to their specific needs.
