After retiring from a career as a professional musician, Shaun earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University. Shaun has worked with patients of many backgrounds, including professional athletes, musicians, children, and older adults in both the hospital setting at Weill Cornell medical center and in outpatient orthopedic clinics in New York City. Having been an educator for over a decade, Shaun centers his treatment around ensuring that his patients understand their injuries and the healing process, which he believes is essential to a complete recovery. Shaun has a strong commitment to excellence in the treatment of all conditions and has pursued advanced training through continuing education to accomplish this, including training in the treatment of Golfers (TPI certified), Instrumental Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM certified), hand therapy, TMJ therapy, head and neck therapy, osteopathy and motor learning, as well as training in ergonomic assessments for optimal body mechanics to reduce pain.
