Victor Wong, PT is a physical therapist with a stern commitment to delivering the optimal care for his patients. His initial interest in orthopedic care was rooted in years of running and competing in badminton and ultimate frisbee. He was fascinated with the mechanics of the body and improving overall physical health. Being an active athlete, he understood the frustrations of injuries and was personally motivated to pursue an education which would help athletes return to the sports they love.
As an undergraduate at Stony Brook University, Victor achieved his Bachelor’s in Athletic Training. He gained years of clinical experience, treating a diverse range of injuries, such as ankle sprains, low back pain, shoulder impingement, hamstring strains, and etc. To further deepen his skill set and obtain more opportunities to treat a wider population, he continued on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hunter College. He strives to keep building his repertoire and honing skills by attending continued education courses for physical therapy.
Victor utilizes hands-on manual techniques to promote healing and reduce pain. He believes in tailoring the plan of care specifically for each individual based on their unique experiences and circumstances. He is conscious of keeping sessions patient-focused and is exceptional at explaining the diagnosis in a comprehensive way. He is dedicated to helping each patient and improving their quality of life.
